Nuzio, a globally recognized expert in the field and former adjunct professor at Nassau College and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, ICC's team of skilled and experienced analysts, auditors, administrators, and account managers all focus on the same, unifying goal: solving client needs, delivering world-class service, and acheiving bottom-line cost savings.

President and CEO

Anthony N. Nuzio (Tony) is President and CEO of ICC Logistics Services, Inc. Anthony is a graduate of the Institute of Logistical Management. Anthony began his career in logistics in 1966 intrigued by the importance of logistics in the corporate structure and the auditing process. He later went on to found ICC Logistics Services in 1975. Since its founding, the firm has been dedicated to helping its customers increase their bottom line through strategic logistics practices and comprehensive auditing services. The company started as a local freight bill auditing firm, and has grown to become a national firm with offices in New York, Massachusetts, Michigan, North Carolina and Pennsylvania. Anthony is also the publisher and editor-in-chief of a monthly industry newsletter entitled “Logistics Strategies” which is distributed to thousands of readers each month. The newsletter provides readers with up-to-the minute information on what’s new in transportation and logistics, as well as providing strategies for improving operational efficiencies and freight cost reductions. A passionate educator, Anthony is responsible for creating and teaching academic programs for BOCES of Nassau County, NY, Nassau Community College and the US Merchant Marine Academy on logistics, transportation and supply chain management. Anthony also worked with Cahners Publishing Company for over 20 years providing educational and training programs throughout the country and at major corporations including La-Z-Boy Chair Company, PPG Industries and the IBM Corporation. Anthony is a member of the Hauppauge Industrial Association, The Logistics Council and the International Furniture Transportation and Logistics Council. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus, an avid fan of New York Mets baseball and enjoys spending time with Vilma, his wife of 40 years.

Vice President

Laura Schwier has been in the field of transportation and logistics for more than 30 years. Schwier has led some of the largest and most successful programs at ICC and is well-known for her technology know-how which has led to the creation of several proprietary software applications that make ICC a true leader in the logistics industry. She has been with ICC Logistics since the inception of the company in the late 1970s. Her prior positions at the company included; Director of Client Fulfillment, where she was responsible for all client relations and accounts and most recently, Chief Information Officer, where she was responsible for the ICC Technologies Group. Her responsibilities as Vice President include overseeing all company departments and working with department managers to improve efficiencies, streamline processes and exceed client expectations. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Raymond and her two children, Sabrina and Matthew.

Parcel Appraisal and Negotiations Consulting Group

Jack Mitchell has twenty years of senior level transportation experience in executive positions with FedEx, DHL, Nippon Express, AFMS Consulting, & Eastern Connection. Jack recently developed and launched a "Ground Product" for a regional carrier to compete with national delivery companies. At Fed Ex, Mitchell was Managing Director for both Worldwide Global and Field Sales managing customer revenues upwards of $1.6 billion dollars. At Fed Ex he received the Chairman's Five Star Award for margin and profit improvements. As Vice President Sales DHL/Airborne, he was awarded the Presidents’ Top Gun Award. With a Passion for airplanes Jack studied Airport and Business management graduating Nathaniel Hawthorne College. Memberships and organizations include Coleman Research Group Knowledge Broker™ Executive Forum, Conference Board, World Economic Development Council, MIT Learning Center and Diversity Task Force. Jack has been a speaker writer, and panelist at transportation and logistic events, organizations and publications.

Parcel Appraisal and Negotiations Consulting Group

Sarah Carey has been involved in logistics and supply chain consultative sales for many years. She has been negotiating domestic and international contracts for over 15 years. Industry experience includes Global Account Management TNT Skypak, serving worldwide logistics accounts with Freight, Express, and supply chain solutions. At Airborne/DHL she was honored as one of the top 10 managing executives nationwide. Graduate of Rutgers University, Bachelor of Science, Environmental & Business Economics. Organizations include Beverly Improvement Society and Cove Community Center. Sarah is also a Certified Physical Trainer and hockey mom.
